Overheard at a concert:  "This is better still than the Wigmore, you get to talk to the artists!"

From a performer:
"if only all concerts were like this"

    About

Wethersfield Chamber Concerts are held at St Mary Magdalene Church with the support of the Vicar and the Parochial Church Council. Our aims are to:

    • encourage the careers of young professional musicians
    • present music of the highest calibre
    • make use of an historic building within the village
    • provide enjoyable events for the wider community within the spiritual calmness of the Church.

The Chamber Concerts are non-profit making. The artists presented are professional musicians and the cost to bring them to our village is met by ticket sales only. There are no subscription members.

The Chamber Concerts are run by the organiser Marijke Curtis and a group of volunteers from within the village.
